On Saturday 7th March I visited Whitstable beach. The sun was out in all its glory ☀️💛 I spent the day shopping and eating (my two favourite things) with my girlfriends. The town had the cutest unique shops and delicious tearooms. In the look above I am wearing:
Dungaree dress: Topshop
I’m getting so excited to share more spring looks with you! Hope you enjoyed and I highly recommended a visit to Whistable.
Peace and love,
Hello my lovelies,
For the past month I have been living in Malaysia. I was longing to write a blog to update you but I was super super busy. Whilst in Malaysia, I taught English to children and adults. This was an incredible and unforgettable experience! I was so shocked at how much attention we received… I felt like Kimmy K. We couldn’t walk anywhere without being papped or followed! One day I was positive I had pulled a muscle in my face from smiling so much for selfies with the locals 😃 . It’s quite depressing being back in England because no one wants my photo! (Cue the violins). I ended up taking millions of photographs but I have chosen some of my favourite outfits and snaps to share with you.. Enjoy ❤️
Here, I am wearing handmade palm tree shorts and plain Topshop tee. We went quad biking in the jungle this day and I somehow managed to crash into a tree and get covered in mud (classic Lily move) . 🙈
In these pictures, I am visiting the Batu caves. At the time, there was a Hindu festival taking place. I was mesmerised by the ladies embellished saris. They looked so glamorous especially with their sparkly jewellery. I felt a little underdressed haha! Here I am wearing a floral midi skirt from Topshop and plain boohoo cami top. I teamed my outfit with black Juju’s and a black Micheal Kors bag.
We visited a Sky bar in Kulua Lumpur and it was incredible!!! The bar had a roof top pool overlooking the whole city’s sky line.In the bar I wore a white lace AX Paris dress.
Whilst in Kulua Lumpur we went to Changkat strip. This was by far the messiest night of my whole trip (too many cocktails) . I am wearing a blue Glamorous swing dress. I’ve had this dress for many years now but I cant get enough of the colour and floral detail.
In Batu Pahat (a small Malaysian rural town) we were invited to a Hindu temple. I was SO jealous of the girls saris, they looked beautiful! I wanted to look colourful so I wore floral harem trousers from Amazon ( bargain) and a neon orange Topshop basic tee.
This dress is my all time favourite summer dress. I brought this dress on a market stool in Turkey last year for next to nothing.I wore this dress in Singapore and in Kulua Lumpur with my black leather bum bag and Juju’s.
Above, I am wearing a Baju Kurung which is a traditional Malay outfit. We went shopping with our Malay girl friends which was lots of fun! It took me a good 8 hours to decide which one I liked the best as they were all SO fabulous! After lots of ummming and arrring I ended up buying two …. whoops. BUT they were only £13 each so I couldn’t resist.
I have really loved writing this blog and I hope you enjoyed reading!
P.s if you get some spare time you NEED to visit Malaysia and Singapore!
Peace and love,
My old item is this oversized vintage marks and spencer camel coat.It has got to be the BEST item I’ve ever won on eBay. I have spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect camel coat but I finally stumbled amongst this gem for only £18.
My new item is a £14 ASOS ribbed turtle neck Crop Top. I love this top because I can match it with almost everything!
I have been eyeing up my sisters black felt fedora hat so thought I would sneakily borrow it for this look. Shhhh
My blue item is my Topshop Joni’s, I literally can’t get enough of Joni’s and I will probably end up buying them till I’m an OAP. I ripped the knees myself and used a cheese grater to create a frayed effect.
